February (new) Favourites and Announcement!

IMG_4537

I am so excited to tell you about this month’s favourite products because it’s also a sneaky preview of what’s to come over the next few weeks that I can’t wait to get started. As some of you will know, I travel quite a bit and this month already I have spent about two weeks in England and now I am back in Europe again, but this time for quite a bit longer. Because of this, I have decided that from March I will be starting a “Best of British” series where I highlight some of my new favourite British beauty brands as well as review new products from ones I have used and loved for years. Not only that, as my travels will take me to multiple cities, I will also be including reviews of products from new and old favourite European brands because there is such a wealth of skincare goodness over this side of the world. So to get started, I will give you a very brief introduction to each product I have been loving lately but don’t worry – you will be hearing much more from all of these brands over the coming weeks.

New Favourite Cleansing Oil: Votary Cleansing Oil £45

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Pelargonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium) Flower Oil, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Oil, Limonene+ Citronellol+ Geraniol+ Linalool+ (+ Naturally occurs in essential oils.).

This brand was highly recommended to me by more than a few people and now I can see why. Everything about this product is just beautiful and it’s made me want to take time to enjoy the ritual of cleansing during my usually rushed and tired nighttime routines again.

New Favourite Mask: Omorovicza Ultramoor Mud Mask £65/$125

Omorovicza have been one of my favorite European brands for years and their Deep Cleansing Mask has been a staple product for me (it was even in my 2015 Favourites) but this might have taken the number one spot now.

I love to use balms when travelling and this has been so helpful in keeping my skin hydrated and soothed during the numerous flights I have been taking. I love that it comes in a travel size making it easy to pop in to my travel bag or purse without taking up too much room.

I hope this little taster has got you as excited as I am about what’s to come because I have so much planned! My goal is to feature brands you may not have heard of or have been interested in trying but don’t know much about because even I, in this short amount of time, have already found products I have fallen hard for. There will be more products and brands, reviews, interviews, brand overviews and so much more as well as a few giveaways, which I am so excited to share with you, so stayed tuned because there is so much more on it’s way!

  1. I am currently finding more and more favorites from the swedish brand Gilda Cometics. They have an english website listing all their ingridients, but unfortunatly the products doesn’t seem to be available anywhere but in Sweden.
