Sarah Chapman Skinesis Eye Tight Treatment Review

IMG_0203

As many of you will know, this summer has been a busy one for me. I have gone from one exhausting and demanding (but also exciting and rewarding) week to the next and suddenly it’s September and I don’t quite know how that happened. Because of everything that I have been doing lately, sleep has been in short supply and after many, many late nights and endless hours spent staring at a computer screen, my eyes started to show it. I genuinely looked as exhausted as I felt and that’s never a good thing. When Sarah Chapman launched two new treatments focused on the eye area, it could not have come at a better time. My eyes were dark and dry, and I had suddenly developed a few fine lines, so it was time to do something. Continue reading

Major Beauty PSA: The Ordinary from DECIEM has launched on Victoria Health

Update: to read my complete 27 product full review of The Ordinary please click HERE.

Today is no ordinary day. This morning, Victoria Health exclusively launched The Ordinary from DECIEM and to quote their fellow Canadian Drake, nothing was the same (sorry, couldn’t help myself lol). In all seriousness, this is one of the biggest skincare launches in the history of the beauty industry and excited doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel or how important this is, not only to me, but to the industry as a whole.

I have been such a huge fan of Victoria Health’s newsletters ever since I discovered the amazing site a few years ago and have grown to look forward to them every month because Gill just writes the best emails. They are like love letters to the skin and I feel like I am hearing from a dear friend, not receiving a mass circulation from a company, but that’s just a small part of what makes Victoria Health so special and you will hear more from me about them very soon. Birthday Wish List 2016

IMG_9716

One of the things I love most about my birthday is the freedom to treat myself all month long (yes all month, hello Leo season!) without feeling guilty and what I unabashedly want most is more skincare. Yep, I love skincare so much that I have multiple categorized (cleansers, toners etc) and ranked (most wanted to casual wants) wish lists dedicated to all the beautiful products I can’t wait to get on my face, and this post is a look at the things I want right now. MINTD August Box Review

IMG_9286

After how much I loved Mintd’s July box (review here), you can bet I was impatient excited to get my hands on this month’s offerings and it did not disappoint. Even though this is only Mintd’s second box, the amazing founder Cheryl has curated an excellent selection of products that I could not wait to try. The theme for this month is ‘Explore’ and the box provides you with everything you need to give yourself a proper head to toe pamper. I’ve had the products for about two weeks now and in this post I will fill you in on how I’ve been getting on with everything. Continue reading

First Impressions: MINTD July Box

IMG_8704

Considering my well documented love of samples, travel sized products and basically anything beauty related in miniature form, it may surprise you to know that I have never subscribed to any beauty boxes. You’d think they would be perfect for someone like me, but I am extremely picky and the idea of having a bunch of random samples and sachets arriving at my door every month just gives me anxiety. Not only that, these days you can get a sample of just about anything from Sephora or any green beauty alternative (Credo, The Detox Market, Content Beauty) and most brands offer free samples when you order from them directly, so the idea of paying for samples (no matter how small the cost) just seems like a waste of money to me.
