MINTD Box October 17 Review

This box is a cozy night in dream and to have it during my favourite month makes it even better. I love this time of year because the weather starts to cool down, the night’s get longer and of course, the beautiful colour changes in nature just make the transition from summer to autumn so much more enjoyable. This is also when I really notice how long the year has been and suddenly I find myself feeling exhausted and craving cozy night’s in. The start of Autumn is my time to slow down, relax more and just recharge from everything that has happened over the previous nine months (and hasn’t it been a lot?!), so this month’s MINTD Box has been perfect for me. MINTD Box September ’17 Review

(Disclaimer: The box was sent for review purposes and this post is not an ad, sponsored or paid for and does not contain any affiliate links.)

This review is coming a little later than expected due to a very busy start to the month and then some unexpected photography issues, but it is one I have been excited to share. This month’s theme is “Refine & Restore” and it is all about supporting your skin as we transition the seasons and each product is a perfectly thoughtful inclusion. My combination skin always struggles going from summer to autumn and this month’s excellent curation has helped to make the changeover a lot less stressful this year. Continue reading

MINTD Box August ’17 Review & Giveaway!

(Disclaimer: The box was sent for review purposes and this post is not an ad, sponsored or paid for and does not contain any affiliate links.)

August has been a whirlwind month for me with a few downs as well as ups, but getting this month’s MINTD Box was a total highlight. I have been so excited to talk about this ever since it arrived and after some pesky mercury retrograde electrical related setbacks (both my phone and laptop were acting up), I can finally do just that. The theme of the box for August is ‘The Recovery Edit’ and honestly it could not have come at a more perfect time. All the products in the box have been picked to help heal, soothe and revive the skin after too much fun in the summertime sun, but for me they just made me happy during a time when a lot of crazy things were going on personally and globally. That has become one of my favourite things about receiving the MINTD box every month – it’s such a treat to have a box full of goodies arrive on my doorstep each month and with each of them consistently proving to be (somehow) better than the last, it’s so worth the cost. This month as always the price is £65, but the value is almost £150 with a saving of £80 and this box is such a good one to get. It’s one of the best MINTD have ever done and I got to discover four new-to-me brands and fall in love with products I know I will repurchase. Continue reading

MINTD July Box and 1st Birthday!

(Disclaimer: The box was sent for review purposes and this post is not an ad, sponsored or paid for and does not contain any affiliate links.)

My oh my how time has flown! Here we are half way through July already (although yay summer!), which means it’s MINTD‘s first birthday! This is such a special occasion and I am so excited to tell you all about this celebratory box because it is a good one. Over the past year there have been mostly hits and a few misses from MINTD for me, but this beautifully curated selection has seriously impressed me. I have been introduced to new products from two of my favourite brands, discovered a lovely product from a brand I’ve never heard of and finally found a product I actually like (woo!) from a brand that hasn’t worked for me in the past. This is exactly what I love and hope for when it comes to beauty boxes and I am so pleased with every product in the 1st Birthday The Glow Edit. Continue reading

MINTD May Box Review

(Disclaimer: The box was sent for review purposes and this post is not an ad, sponsored or paid for and does not contain any affiliate links.)

This review is coming quite a bit later in the month than planned thanks to a series of unavoidable events, but nevertheless, here it is. This month MINTD have yet again curated an excellent selection of goodies to help you get prepped for holiday season, which is the theme of the box. The Holiday Beauty Prep box includes a thoughtful mix of non-skincare products from luxury brands like Miller Harris, Kahina Giving Beauty and Soveral. We have seen a lot of great skincare from MINTD this year and I love that this box is focused on bodycare because it means we are not being overloaded with the same type of products, which I really appreciate. There’s only about a week left to snag this box, so if you like an indulgent full-body pamper then keep reading! Continue reading

MINTD April Box Review

(Disclaimer – the box was sent for review purposes. This post is not an ad, paid for or sponsored and does not contain any affiliate links.)

One of the things I missed doing while taking a social media/blog break was reviewing the MINTD boxes, especially after my disappointing experience with the January box (here) but now I am back with April’s curated selection and I am in love. I feel like ever since the new year MINTD have continuously stepped up their monthly picks and each box from February to now has just got better and better. This month’s theme is “The Upkeep” and the products included have been chosen to “perfect and maintain the balance of your skin”, which they have absolutely done for me. Unlike with previous boxes where one or two of the products were not for me, this box was a total winner and I am so excited to tell you all about it. Continue reading

MINTD January Box Review

(Disclaimer – this post is not an ad, sponsored or paid for and contains no affiliate links.)

Here we are with the first MINTD Box review of the year and after surviving the mess that was 2016 (shudders), a “Rejuvenate” themed selection of goodies is just what my skin needs. Unfortunately, this was a mixed bag again with some products being absolutely amazing, while others being so bad that I couldn’t bare to use them. Saying that, this box is still incredible value for money as it costs £65 and you save a massive £94, which is almost 2/3’s of the total value, so I would still highly recommend it as the products I love far outweigh the ones I don’t. My reviews are always going to be honest no matter who I’m working with, so keep reading to find out what I thought of everything in this month’s kit. Continue reading
