One of the things I missed most about not sharing my skincare routines on Instagram is the discussions I had with all of you. I missed talking about the products and how and why I used them and getting really helpful feedback and tips. Now that I am getting back into sharing my routines I just had to do a blog post on this one because I’ve done it twice already and each time I can’t get over how much better my skin looks. The star product in the lineup is the Sacred Ground Mineral Mask from MOSS and it’s really what inspired this post because I have so much to say about my experience with it so far. It’s an incredible product and one I think you all need to know about. Since it’s such an involved routine I thought it would be good to fully explain how and why I use each product and what each step entails, so you know exactly what I did and could recreate it yourself. Enjoy! Continue reading
One of the things I love most about my birthday is the freedom to treat myself all month long (yes all month, hello Leo season!) without feeling guilty and what I unabashedly want most is more skincare. Yep, I love skincare so much that I have multiple categorized (cleansers, toners etc) and ranked (most wanted to casual wants) wish lists dedicated to all the beautiful products I can’t wait to get on my face, and this post is a look at the things I want right now. Continue reading
More than the just for the satisfaction of seeing everything I have used up, I love doing empties posts because as I’ve said before, I think it’s so important to reevaluate my thoughts on the things I use once they’re all gone. In this post is a huge collection of products I finished during March and April while travelling. It took a lot for me not to throw all this out on the go but I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to document my “success” so here it all is! Continue reading
Happy New Year, everyone!!! This is my third yearly Favourites but my first one on the blog and I am so excited to be able to talk about each product in more detail. Every product here has been my most loved/most used in their respective categories throughout 2015 and this time around it was so easy to pick my favourites – I just knew already. Even though some of these products are more recent discoveries than others, all of them have become firm staples in my collection that I reached for time and time again last year, so keep reading to find out why! When Odacité first announced the release of the Oleosomes Time Release Delivery Crème ($68/£55 at Cult Beauty or Content Beauty) I was so excited. I travel so much and always struggle with keeping my skin in check when I’m on the road, so this sounded like something I definitely needed. I was lucky enough to be sent the crème to test out before the release, and it could not have come at a better time. September was a crazy month for me and I travelled all over the country and took countless flights. Flying that month was a bit of a nightmare as it was incredibly hot and humid every where I went, but the flights were freezing and so drying on my skin. Usually, in a situation like this, my combination skin would go a little crazy as I try to balance keeping it hydrated without causing any congestion, but this time it was not a problem and it was primarily thanks to this product. It’s a great hybrid of nature and science and has finally got me using an actual moisturizer instead of just one of my beloved oils and that is huge. Continue reading
If you follow me on Instagram, it should come as no surprise that these five products are this month’s favorites because they have all been in heavy rotation over the past few weeks and for good reason. With the changing weather, my skin has been on the drier side of combination and these products have helped me to keep it clear, smooth and hydrated. Continue reading
A few weeks ago I shared on Instagram a post about the skincare products I wanted for my birthday. It was more for fun than an actual demand for presents but I still enjoyed the process of really thinking about which skincare items I would most like to receive and why. I am very particular about my skincare shopping and over the past couple of years have really toned down my “impulse purchases”. A lot of research goes into anything I decide to buy and I have either tried a sample and loved it or it’s a product from a brand I know and trust and I’m confident I will love. So, without further adieu, here’s what made the list. Continue reading
