One of the things I love most about my birthday is the freedom to treat myself all month long (yes all month, hello Leo season!) without feeling guilty and what I unabashedly want most is more skincare. Yep, I love skincare so much that I have multiple categorized (cleansers, toners etc) and ranked (most wanted to casual wants) wish lists dedicated to all the beautiful products I can’t wait to get on my face, and this post is a look at the things I want right now. When it came time to start thinking about what my favourite products were from last month it was so easy to put the list together. Some favourites are newer than others but everything here are products I found myself reaching for time and time again and it’s what I’m using for tonight’s skincare routine. Continue reading
More than the just for the satisfaction of seeing everything I have used up, I love doing empties posts because as I’ve said before, I think it’s so important to reevaluate my thoughts on the things I use once they’re all gone. In this post is a huge collection of products I finished during March and April while travelling. It took a lot for me not to throw all this out on the go but I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to document my “success” so here it all is! Continue reading
During this series I have tested and discovered so many new products/brands and while not everything made the cut, I loved so much of what I tried and in the post I have picked my favourites from the bunch, ones that I now consider absolute staples and would happily repurchase again and again. When I asked Imelda what her skincare routine would look like if she only used British brands I had no idea what I was getting myself in to! What she came back with was a list of the most covetable products and the most indulgent “slow” routine that it just had to have it’s own post. As expected from someone who lives and breathes skincare and green beauty, every single step has been considered and what she uses is of the very best quality. Keep reading to find out which products made the cut and how you can win every single product in Imelda’s spectacular “Best of British” Skincare Routine. Continue reading
I was first introduced to Evolve late last year through the lovely Swapna over at Beauty Motormouth and as soon as I decided I wanted to do a Best of British series, they were immediately at the top of my list of brands to feature. Evolve products are hand crafted in small batches in a little town just outside of London and are vegan and cruelty free. Founded by the incredibly talented Harvard Business School graduate Laura Rudoe (also founder of S5 Skincare and previously at NUDE skincare) along with Violaine Bargues (Production Development Management) and Freya Krauskopf (Studio Manager), these ladies have created a line of superfood focused, affordable, natural and organic products that are effective and beautifully formulated. Evolve only launched in June of last year but their small yet impressive lineup is well made, incredibly fresh and contains a high level of natural and organic ingredients. I have been so impressed with everything I have tried and I think Evolve is a great “little” brand doing big things in the green beauty world. Continue reading

Welcome to the official start of my “Best of British” series and the review of one of my most favourite discoveries since I started doing research for this feature. I first heard about La Belle Lune through Content Beauty & Wellbeing and ever since I received this gorgeous little bottle of magic, it has been the new star of my skincare universe. This is one of the most beautiful products I have ever used and I am quite addicted to what it has done for my skin. I am so lucky that I get to try a lot of products, but Organic Skin is something special and boy, did I fall for this beauty hard. I cannot wait to tell you all about it, oh and try not to get too distracted by the beautiful packaging because the product inside is even better – trust me. Continue reading
