This post has been long, long, long overdue on the blog. As you will have read from my 2017 #SkinGoals, a family emergency lead to an unexpectedly long hiatus from blogging and this write-up (which I had been working on for months) never got finished. It was originally scheduled to go up over the summer, then on Small Business Saturday (both US and UK dates), then before Christmas (then after) and now here we are. I have been so excited to talk about this for such a long time now and I can’t wait to finally share all my favourite places to shop with you. Continue reading

These beauty buffs prefer to have their products be mostly planted based, but don’t mind a few (very minimal and purposeful) synthetic ingredients in the name of the best formulations, and these sets are the perfect example of that. My Green Beauty Journey

Like most people (it seems), my green beauty journey started with an illness. A few years ago I was dealing with a lot of stress in my life and not particularly taking care of myself and things kept going like that until I became quite severely physically ill, which landed me in the hospital on several occasions. My hair was falling out, I couldn’t eat or sleep properly, I was weak and tired and ached all over and my skin was a mess. I developed some serious internal issues (all better now, thankfully) which really made me wake up and realize that I was slowly killing myself. Continue reading
