It’s a little hard to keep track of empties on the road because on one hand it’s a bit weird travelling around with empty products but on the other hand,  I want to keep them so I can blog about them! I kept as much as I could but a lot of things I have used up have been dumped a long the way (stuff I have mentioned before many times) so these are the things I have finished recently AND been able to hang on to. Birthday Skincare Wish List

A few weeks ago I shared on Instagram a post about the skincare products I wanted for my birthday. It was more for fun than an actual demand for presents but I still enjoyed the process of really thinking about which skincare items I would most like to receive and why. I am very particular about my skincare shopping and over the past couple of years have really toned down my “impulse purchases”. A lot of research goes into anything I decide to buy and I have either tried a sample and loved it or it’s a product from a brand I know and trust and I’m confident I will love. Summer Favourites Part 1

I am so happy to be doing this post because this year I have so many amazing products that I have been truly loving. My Green Beauty Journey

Like most people (it seems), my green beauty journey started with an illness. A few years ago I was dealing with a lot of stress in my life and not particularly taking care of myself and things kept going like that until I became quite severely physically ill, which landed me in the hospital on several occasions. My hair was falling out, I couldn’t eat or sleep properly, I was weak and tired and ached all over and my skin was a mess. I developed some serious internal issues (all better now, thankfully) which really made me wake up and realize that I was slowly killing myself. Continue reading
