Long Overdue Huge Empties Post

img_2227

It has been far, far too long since my last empties post (here), so brace yourself for an epic rundown of everything I finished up over the past few months. I love these type of posts because it’s so helpful to reevaluate my thoughts on a product once I’ve used it all the way to the end. It’s important to me to see if my first impressions still stand or if my feelings have totally changed, as it has done with some of these. Most of the products included in this post have been fully reviewed on the blog already, so this is just a brief final overview of my thoughts and experiences, a “last impressions” if you will, before the empty bottles hit the trash. Not everything here was used up by me and not everything was a success, so keep reading to find out which ones I loved to the very last drop and which ones didn’t get that all important “repurchase” seal of approval. Skincare Confession: My 30 Seconds Or Less Two-Step Routines

img_1810

As some of you will have noticed from my recent inconsistent posting on Instagram (sorry about that), I am pretty busy at the moment. There has been no time to share my skincare routines with you all, but worse than that, there has barely been any time to actually do them! As shocking as that may seem, it hasn’t been all bad as on the days when I have been too tired for even just a “simple” cleanse, tone and moisturize, I have found some pretty impressive 2-step combos that have done a great job of taking care of my skin in 30 seconds or less, which has been so helpful. Birthday Wish List 2016

IMG_9716

One of the things I love most about my birthday is the freedom to treat myself all month long (yes all month, hello Leo season!) without feeling guilty and what I unabashedly want most is more skincare. Yep, I love skincare so much that I have multiple categorized (cleansers, toners etc) and ranked (most wanted to casual wants) wish lists dedicated to all the beautiful products I can’t wait to get on my face, and this post is a look at the things I want right now. March and April Empties: Part 1

IMG_6362

More than the just for the satisfaction of seeing everything I have used up, I love doing empties posts because as I’ve said before, I think it’s so important to reevaluate my thoughts on the things I use once they’re all gone. In this post is a huge collection of products I finished during March and April while travelling. It took a lot for me not to throw all this out on the go but I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to document my “success” so here it all is! Continue reading

Top Three Purifying Serums: Kypris Clearing Serum, Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum And Bravura London 2% Salicylic Acid Peel Review

IMG_4404

Serums are such an important step in our skincare routine and because I have combination skin, having a great purifying one is essential to keeping my complexion balanced, clear and smooth. Over the years I have used some pretty harsh ones (high alcohol content etc) that have left my skin irritated, dry and flaky but these three have been complete heroes for me. I wanted to do a post about them together because not everyone with acne or who is acne prone needs the same thing but between these serums there is an option for every skin type, acne level, ingredients preference and budget. Happy New Year, everyone!!! This is my third yearly Favourites but my first one on the blog and I am so excited to be able to talk about each product in more detail. November Favourites, Bravura London Review and Giveaway!

FullSizeRender

If you follow me on Instagram, then you will know I have been pretty obsessed with Bravura London for the past couple of months. The 2% Salicylic Acid Peel was my most used product in November and now with the addition of the 10% Glycolic Acid Peel and the Revitalising Ginseng Toner, my obsession is off the charts. It was so easy for me to pick them as last month’s favourites because I have used them more than any other product I own and have seen better results than with anything else I use. I have also been getting so many questions about them that I thought it was high time I did a review so you can get an idea of what they’re like and decide which one is right for you. Continue reading
